Created and authored by social innovator, investor, strategist and global leadership architect Janet C. Salazar (J.C. Salazar), the framework and platform that started as a leadership book project, ALPHA WHISPERERS: Power Behind The Power was incubated by the Rockefeller Foundation Bellagio Residency Program in March 2023 at the Rockefeller Foundation Bellagio Center in Bellagio, Italy where Salazar was a scholar and resident.
Part of the intellectual architecture behind ALPHA WHISPERERS: Power Behind The Power was refined during those quiet mornings and contemplative evenings overlooking Lake Como. The stillness of Bellagio created space for deeper questions:
How are decisions truly shaped? What invisible systems influence global outcomes? What kind of leadership will this century require? And perhaps most importantly: How do we preserve humanity while navigating accelerating complexity?
The Rockefeller Foundation Bellagio Residency Program has a track record for supporting the production of breakthrough ideas and knowledge addressing some of the most complex challenges facing our world. The Bellagio Center has hosted some of the most ambitious, innovative, and committed leaders of our time — including more than 85 Nobel Laureates.
